1. Born in Kanpur.
2. Started learning Music under the guidance of Mrs Madhu Bhatnagar.
3. Started Schooling from Seth AnandRam Jaipuria Public School, Kanpur.
4. Won singing competitions held by Lions Club, Jaycees Club, Rotatry Club - Kanpur.
5. Graduated from A.N.D. College, Kanpur in BA Music.
6. Joined Delhi University Music Department to pursue MA (Music).
7. Won National level Singing Competition - "Gayak - Gayika 1991".
8. Completed MA MPhil in Music from Delhi University.
9. Cleared Audition in All India Radio and Doordarshan.
10. Rated as one of the top performing artist at AIR.

Thereafter I taught Music in a DU College. But soon left teaching job and started recording Albums, performing at Corporate Shows and Events. I prefer to do stage performance for established groups/events. I have my set of experienced and well known Musicians from the Music industry in my team, I am also very particular on the quality of my Sound and Sound Engineers. I not only love to do Filmy and Non Filmy Music but also relish doing Bhajan Sandhya, Baithaks(A friend family get together/A prayer meeting), lead vocalist in classical dance recital and Folk Music related to Marriage Event's, Religious function's(e.g Durga Puja, Ganesh Chaturthi, Bihu, Onum, Holi Milan, etc) and any other good theme based programme but these programmes/events should be of par excellence. I can take contracts for managing entire musical part of an event.
